Of all the skin types, oily skin is the most sensitive type due to the increased activity of the sebaceous glands, which increases the possibility of clogging the pores on the skin. If the dirt gets into the pores, the dead cells in the skin and bacteria remain closed there and thus appear red bumps on the skin, so-called pimples. Acne is also common for this skin type. Oily skin is conditioned by genetic factors and hormones in the body, the imbalance which leads to excessive production of sebum. One of the advantages of oily skin is that it ages more slowly due to a higher level of hydration, compared to dry or sensitive skin, oily skin stays younger for longer. When caring for oily skin, the most important step is to thoroughly cleanse the face.
